Welcome to Green Wave Gardens!
We are an inland Washington
organic farm providing fresh fruits and vegetables to local farmer's
markets and restaurants. We specialize in a broad variety of garlic, but
grow a diverse abundance of other produce as well. Check out our market
schedule for a list of dates and times when you can pick out your own
basket of goodness from Green Wave Gardens!
The growing season has come and gone once again. The garlic has been
planted and is now laying to rest in the frozen ground as we continue to
sell the last of the culinary stock. December brought with it orchard
pruning, seed ordering, crop and garden planning, continued education
research, CSA planning, terribly cold weather and then rain, and of
course, the WSDA Organic Certification.
As we enter the new year, our family seems to be just as busy now as we
were back in August, when the tomato vineyards were ripening fruit faster
than our hands could pick and garlic was piling up to our necks. Our 2010
season is fast approaching, so be sure check out our NEW 20 week summer
vegetable and fruit CSA program. In 2010, we will also be offering 49
varieties of gourmet garlic and over 60 varieties of beautiful heirloom
tomatoes and tomato starts.
We will commence selling at the Spokane Farmers’ Market beginning the
second week of May. Please continue to check back for exact dates. We look
forward to providing you with another season of fresh, local, organic
produce in 2010! Until then, take care and thank you for another amazing
season! |

The
care of the earth is our most ancient and most worthy and, after all, our
most pleasing responsibility. To cherish what remains in it, and to foster
its renewal, is our only legitimate hope.

This year
we have 21 varieties of WSDA certified organic

weed, hand feed, hand harvest, and hand clean each and every bulb. This is
big, beautiful, hard and CLEAN garlic.
